Returns & Exchanges Policies

Hudson House will gladly accept returns or exchanges if you are not happy with your purchase. We accept returns or exchanges of items that have NOT been worn, washed, damaged, altered, or defective for store credit (Hudson House E-Gift card) within 15 days from the date your item shipped. Items also need to still have original tags attached.

Whether you are returning or exchanging, once you receive a return label from us, you have 5 days to ship back the item. If the item has not been dropped off at the post office within that 5 day windom, then we will reject your return/exchange. (Verified by the tracking number).

Hudson House only offers store credit for returns. We do not refund to the original payment method.

Hudson House offers exchanges of the same item for a different size, pending availability of sizes. If we do not have the size of the item you wish to exchange for in stock, a refund will automatically be issued for the return in the form of store credit (Hudson House E-Gift card) minus a $5 restocking fee, unless you wish to keep the item. Exchanges must be made within 15 days from the date your item shipped. 

If you received an item that is damaged or defective, you must email customer service within 3 days of delivery. You must include pictures of the damaged item in your email. Unfortunately, if it is past 3 days, we can no longer exchange or return your item for a refund. Once you receive your shipping label to return the item, you have one week to send it back and if it goes past that time, the shipping label provided will no longer be viable. This means you would be responsible for the shipping costs. Refunds and exchanges based on damaged goods will be handled on a case by case basis to avoid abuse of the policy.

For hygiene purposes, we do not accept items that have obvious use, makeup, spray tan, pet hair, deodorant, perfume or any other similar stains and may be subject to denial and sent back to you. If we receive a return or exchange with any of the above, we reserve the right to refuse return/exchange and the item will be sent back to you.

 

How to start your return

You can start your return process HERE by entering in your order number and email address. 

You will then be able to select which eligible items you would like to return. After you have completed the returns process, you will receive an email with a packing slip and prepaid USPS return label. Print the packing slip and label. Once you pack all of your APPROVED items and the packing slip and attach the shipping label, take the package to the post office. You must ship the items back within 5 days of receiving your prepaid return label otherwise it will be cancelled and you will no longer be able to return your items. Expect to receive your E-Gift card via the email address you provided within 3-5 business days after we received your return. 

How to start an exchange 

Just like starting a return, click on the link HERE and enter your order number and email address. It will bring up your eligible item for exchanging. You must ship the items back within 5 days of receiving your prepaid return label otherwise it will be cancelled and you will no longer be able to return your items.We only allow exchanges for the same items in a different size. You can only exchange that item ONCE. Please allow 7-10 business days for the exchange process.  

 

Additional return & exchange details

  • Only STORE CREDIT is offered for returns
  • The amount of your store credit reflects only the value of your returned items and does not include shipping and taxes
  • During the returns process, if an item is ineligible for return, you will not be able to select that item for return. You can find the list of items that are not eligible for returns/exchanges below

  • Sale Items
  • Jewelry
  • Lingerie & any under garments
  • Hair Accessories
  • Any bath salts/soaks, scrubs and soaps
